1. Introduction & Acceptance
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of SaySheet, our voice-first application that converts natural speech into structured Google Sheets entries, related websites (including saysheet.com), mobile-friendly experiences, APIs, and services (collectively, the "Service"). By creating an account, connecting a Google account, or using any part of the Service, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not access or use SaySheet.
SaySheet is operated from the United States. You are responsible for ensuring the Service is permitted in your jurisdiction and for complying with any laws that apply to your use.
2. Eligibility & Account Security
You must be at least 18 years old and capable of forming a binding contract to use SaySheet. You are responsible for safeguarding your account credentials and any devices you use to access the Service. Notify us immediately at help@saysheet.com if you suspect unauthorized access or believe your account has been compromised.
3. Description of the Service
SaySheet lets you capture audio, generate transcripts, parse structured data, and write entries to your designated Google Sheets tabs. Core capabilities include Deepgram-powered transcription, LLM-powered extraction via OpenRouter, schema editing, undo windows, multiple form management, and Google Sheets OAuth 2.0 connections stored securely in Supabase. We may introduce new features or retire legacy ones at any time in order to improve stability, security, or compliance.
4. Google Account Connection & Permissions
When you authorize SaySheet through Google OAuth, you grant the app limited access to your Google Sheets and Drive metadata solely to (i) list spreadsheets you select, (ii) read column headers and schema definitions, and (iii) write new rows that you approve. SaySheet complies with Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. We never sell Google user data, we only use it to deliver the features you request, and we do not allow human access to that data unless you ask for support or we must investigate security, legal, or abuse issues.
You may revoke SaySheet's access at any time through your Google security settings. Revoking access prevents further reads and writes until you reconnect, but previously written rows remain in your spreadsheet.
5. Your Content & Voice Submissions
You retain all rights in the audio, transcripts, schema definitions, and spreadsheet data you submit. By using the Service you grant SaySheet a worldwide, non-exclusive license to host, process, and transmit that content solely to deliver the Service, troubleshoot issues, and maintain security. You represent that you have all necessary rights to submit the content (including personal data) and that it does not violate applicable law or third-party rights.
The Service may use automated models to format, coerce, or normalize your content (for example, turning "50kg" into "50"). You are responsible for reviewing entries before they are written to your Sheets and for maintaining appropriate backups of critical data.
6. Acceptable Use
When using SaySheet you agree not to:
- Misuse or attempt to gain unauthorized access to Google APIs, Supabase, Deepgram, OpenRouter, or any infrastructure we rely on.
- Upload unlawful, infringing, discriminatory, or deceptive content, or collect personal data without a valid legal basis.
- Use voice automations, bots, or scraping to circumvent product limits or degrade Service performance.
- Reverse engineer or interfere with security features, rate limits, or recording safeguards.
- Use SaySheet to create or transmit spam, malware, or unsolicited communications.
We may suspend or terminate access if we believe your use violates these Terms or harms other users.
7. Subscription Plans, Trials & Billing
7.1 Free Trial
New users are offered a 7-day free trial of our Pro plan. To start your free trial:

7.2 Trial Abuse Prevention
To ensure fair access to our trial program:
- Each user is eligible for one free trial per account
- Customers who previously had a trial on any of our products are not eligible for another trial
- Free trials are intended for evaluation purposes only, not for production workloads or commercial use
- You may not resell, redistribute, or sublicense AI-generated output from trial accounts
- Creating multiple accounts, using technical circumvention methods, or automated credit farming to obtain additional trials is strictly prohibited
- Violators may have their access terminated immediately and may be permanently blacklisted from using SaySheet, including blocking of email domains, device identifiers, and IP address ranges
We use Polar's built-in abuse prevention system to enforce these policies. If you believe you were incorrectly flagged, contact help@saysheet.com.
7.3 Paid Subscriptions
SaySheet offers subscription plans as described on our pricing page. Pricing is subject to change for new subscriptions, but your rate will remain unchanged for the duration of your current subscription period.

- Are excluded from any service level agreements or support commitments
- May result in data loss or corruption
- Should not be used for production workloads or critical business processes
We are not liable for any losses, damages, or issues arising from your use of beta features. By using beta features, you acknowledge these risks and agree to provide feedback to help improve the Service.
8. No Refunds Policy
All subscription fees are non-refundable. Once you have been charged for a subscription period, we do not offer refunds, partial refunds, or prorated refunds for:
- Unused subscription time
- Unused AI credits
- Dissatisfaction with the Service
- Changes in your business needs
- Service interruptions or downtime
Additionally, payment processing fees charged by our payment processor (Polar.sh) are non-refundable. Credit card networks and payment service providers charge us for transactions regardless of whether a refund is later issued. These are third-party costs we cannot recover.
If you wish to discontinue your subscription, you may cancel at any time through your account settings. Upon cancellation, you will retain access to Pro features until the end of your current billing period, but no refund will be provided for the remaining days.
Exceptions
We may issue refunds at our sole discretion in cases of:
- Duplicate billing or payment processing errors
- Service unavailability for extended periods (as defined in any applicable SLA)
- Legal requirements in your jurisdiction
For billing questions or to report payment errors, contact help@saysheet.com.
9. AI Credits and Usage
9.1 Credit Allocation
Each subscription plan includes a monthly allocation of AI credits as described on our pricing page. Credits are used for voice transcription, AI data extraction, and other AI-powered features.
9.2 Credit Refills
Credits automatically refill to your plan's allocation on your billing cycle date. Unused credits do NOT roll over to the next billing period.
9.3 Credit Exhaustion
If you exhaust your monthly credit allocation before your next billing cycle, you will not be able to use AI-powered features until credits refill. We do not currently offer credit top-ups or additional credit purchases.
10. AI-Powered Features & Output Accuracy
SaySheet uses artificial intelligence for voice transcription (Deepgram) and data extraction (LLM providers via OpenRouter). AI-generated outputs, including transcripts and extracted field values, are provided “as is” without warranties of any kind.
AI outputs may contain errors, inaccuracies, or omissions. You are solely responsible for reviewing all transcriptions and extracted data before submitting entries to Google Sheets or relying on outputs for any purpose.
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, SAYSHEET DISCLAIMS ALL WARRANTIES REGARDING AI OUTPUTS, INCLUDING WARRANTIES OF ACCURACY, COMPLETENESS, OR FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE. You acknowledge that AI models may produce incorrect or nonsensical results, and you use AI features at your own risk.
11. Intellectual Property
SaySheet, including its branding, code, and documentation, is owned by us and protected by intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, host, sublicense, or redistribute the Service except as expressly allowed by these Terms. All trademarks, logos, and product names are the property of their respective owners.
12. Feedback
If you provide suggestions, bug reports, or other feedback, you grant us a perpetual, irrevocable, royalty-free right to use the feedback without restriction. We have no obligation to implement feedback or keep it confidential.
13. Privacy & Data Security
Our Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect personal data. Highlights include secure token storage in Supabase, short-lived audio uploads, encryption in transit, and least-privilege access. Please review the Privacy Policy for full details. By using the Service you consent to the processing described there.
14. Third-Party Services
The Service relies on third-party providers to deliver core functionality. These include:
AI Providers
- Transcription: Deepgram Nova-2 for speech-to-text conversion
- Data Extraction: OpenRouter routes requests to LLM providers including OpenAI (GPT-4o mini), Google Gemini, Anthropic, and others
These providers process your voice recordings and extracted data in accordance with their own privacy policies and terms of service.
Other Service Providers
We also rely on Google Cloud, Supabase (database and authentication), Vercel (hosting), Polar.sh (billing), and analytics or logging tools. Their terms and privacy policies apply when you use their services through SaySheet.
We are not responsible for third-party provider outages, changes to their services, or their data handling practices beyond our contractual agreements.
15. Service Availability & Changes
We aim for high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted Service. Planned maintenance, carrier changes, platform updates, and force majeure events may impact performance or access. We may modify or discontinue any part of the Service with reasonable notice when possible.
If we make changes to these Terms, we will update the "Last updated" date. For material changes that meaningfully reduce your rights, we will notify you via email to the address associated with your account or through a prominent in-app notice. The notice will designate a reasonable period (typically 30 days) after which the new terms will take effect. Your continued use of the Service after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
16. Disclaimers & Limitation of Liability
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED ON AN “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE” BASIS WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS, IMPLIED, OR STATUTORY, INCLUDING WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, OR NON-INFRINGEMENT. TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, SAYSHEET AND ITS AFFILIATES WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, EXEMPLARY, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, OR GOODWILL. OUR AGGREGATE LIABILITY FOR ALL CLAIMS RELATING TO THE SERVICE WILL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF (A) THE AMOUNTS YOU PAID US IN THE TWELVE MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM OR (B) ONE HUNDRED U.S. DOLLARS ($100).
Some jurisdictions do not allow certain disclaimers or limitations, so some of the above may not apply to you.
17. Indemnification
You will indemnify and hold harmless SaySheet and its officers, directors, employees, and partners from any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of or related to your content, your use of the Service, or your violation of these Terms.
18. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States of America, without regard to conflict of law principles. The exclusive venue for any dispute arising out of or relating to the Service is the state or federal courts located in San Francisco County, California, and you consent to their jurisdiction.
