1. Introduction & Acceptance
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of SaySheet, our voice-first application that converts natural speech into structured Google Sheets entries, related websites (including saysheet.com), mobile-friendly experiences, APIs, and services (collectively, the "Service"). By creating an account, connecting a Google account, or using any part of the Service, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not access or use SaySheet.
SaySheet is operated from the United States. You are responsible for ensuring the Service is permitted in your jurisdiction and for complying with any laws that apply to your use.
2. Eligibility & Account Security
You must be at least 18 years old and capable of forming a binding contract to use SaySheet. You are responsible for safeguarding your account credentials and any devices you use to access the Service. Notify us immediately at help@saysheet.com if you suspect unauthorized access or believe your account has been compromised.
3. Description of the Service
SaySheet lets you capture audio, generate transcripts, parse structured data, and write entries to your designated Google Sheets tabs. Core capabilities include Deepgram-powered transcription, LLM-powered extraction via OpenRouter, schema editing, undo windows, multiple form management, and Google Sheets OAuth 2.0 connections stored securely in Supabase. We may introduce new features or retire legacy ones at any time in order to improve stability, security, or compliance.
4. Google Account Connection & Permissions
When you authorize SaySheet through Google OAuth, you grant the app limited access to your Google Sheets and Drive metadata solely to (i) list spreadsheets you select, (ii) read column headers and schema definitions, and (iii) write new rows that you approve. SaySheet complies with Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. We never sell Google user data, we only use it to deliver the features you request, and we do not allow human access to that data unless you ask for support or we must investigate security, legal, or abuse issues.
You may revoke SaySheet's access at any time through your Google security settings. Revoking access prevents further reads and writes until you reconnect, but previously written rows remain in your spreadsheet.
5. Your Content & Voice Submissions
You retain all rights in the audio, transcripts, schema definitions, and spreadsheet data you submit. By using the Service you grant SaySheet a worldwide, non-exclusive license to host, process, and transmit that content solely to deliver the Service, troubleshoot issues, and maintain security. You represent that you have all necessary rights to submit the content (including personal data) and that it does not violate applicable law or third-party rights.
The Service may use automated models to format, coerce, or normalize your content (for example, turning "50kg" into "50"). You are responsible for reviewing entries before they are written to your Sheets and for maintaining appropriate backups of critical data.
6. Acceptable Use
When using SaySheet you agree not to:
- Misuse or attempt to gain unauthorized access to Google APIs, Supabase, Deepgram, OpenRouter, or any infrastructure we rely on.
- Upload unlawful, infringing, discriminatory, or deceptive content, or collect personal data without a valid legal basis.
- Use voice automations, bots, or scraping to circumvent product limits or degrade Service performance.
- Reverse engineer or interfere with security features, rate limits, or recording safeguards.
- Use SaySheet to create or transmit spam, malware, or unsolicited communications.
We may suspend or terminate access if we believe your use violates these Terms or harms other users.
7. Trials, Payments & Beta Features
We may offer the Service free of charge, via trials, or through paid plans. Any pricing will be disclosed within the product or an order form. Paid plans renew automatically unless canceled. Beta or pre-release features are provided "as is" for evaluation and may be changed or discontinued without notice. We are not liable for losses arising from reliance on experimental functionality.
8. Intellectual Property
SaySheet, including its branding, code, and documentation, is owned by us and protected by intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, host, sublicense, or redistribute the Service except as expressly allowed by these Terms. All trademarks, logos, and product names are the property of their respective owners.
9. Feedback
If you provide suggestions, bug reports, or other feedback, you grant us a perpetual, irrevocable, royalty-free right to use the feedback without restriction. We have no obligation to implement feedback or keep it confidential.
10. Privacy & Data Security
Our Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect personal data. Highlights include secure token storage in Supabase, short-lived audio uploads, encryption in transit, and least-privilege access. Please review the Privacy Policy for full details. By using the Service you consent to the processing described there.
11. Third-Party Services
The Service relies on third parties such as Google Cloud, Deepgram, OpenRouter (LLM providers), Supabase, Vercel, and analytics or logging tools. Their terms and privacy policies apply when you use their services through SaySheet. We are not responsible for third-party outages or changes but will work to maintain compatibility where feasible.
12. Service Availability & Changes
We aim for high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted Service. Planned maintenance, carrier changes, platform updates, and force majeure events may impact performance or access. We may modify or discontinue any part of the Service with reasonable notice when possible. If we materially change these Terms, we will post the updated version and update the "Last updated" date.
13. Disclaimers & Limitation of Liability
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED ON AN “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE” BASIS WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS, IMPLIED, OR STATUTORY, INCLUDING WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, OR NON-INFRINGEMENT. TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, SAYSHEET AND ITS AFFILIATES WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, EXEMPLARY, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, OR GOODWILL. OUR AGGREGATE LIABILITY FOR ALL CLAIMS RELATING TO THE SERVICE WILL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF (A) THE AMOUNTS YOU PAID US IN THE TWELVE MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM OR (B) ONE HUNDRED U.S. DOLLARS ($100).
Some jurisdictions do not allow certain disclaimers or limitations, so some of the above may not apply to you.
14. Indemnification
You will indemnify and hold harmless SaySheet and its officers, directors, employees, and partners from any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of or related to your content, your use of the Service, or your violation of these Terms.
15. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States of America, without regard to conflict of law principles. The exclusive venue for any dispute arising out of or relating to the Service is the state or federal courts located in San Francisco County, California, and you consent to their jurisdiction.
